National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Ernakulam
National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) is located in Kochi, Ernakulam district, India. It is public law school affiliated with the National Law University. The Kerala State Legislature passed Act 27 in 2005 to establish it. It was previously known as the National Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS). According to India Today's rankings, it is placed 11th in all of India for legal study.
University' curriculum includes BA LLB, LLM, PG Diploma, Ph.D., and certificate programs. University entry to all these courses is based on the Common Law entry Test (CLAT).

Admission 2025 at University
The University provides comprehensive spectrum of UG and PG legal education. The university offers the following courses: BA LLB, LLM, PG Diploma, and Ph.D.
Entrance exam is basis for students admission. The UG and PG courses will be selected based on CLAT (centralized law test) scores. Kerala students receive 49% reservation in all categories.

The University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) in Kochi conducts the test for academic year students twice a year, in April/May/June and October/November/December. University offers government-sponsored scholarships to students from backward communities like as SC and ST based on their merit and financial need. Furthermore, there is an NK Nambiar grant for students from low-income families. Aside from that, IDIA offers scholarships.
