Rabindranath Tagore University, popularly known as RNTU Bhopal, is India's first skill-based university and the primary institution of India's top higher education organization, the AISECT organization of Universities. The institution was established in 2010 in Bhopal and is accredited by the AICTE, NCTE, and BCI. The university provides 117 UG, PG, doctoral, and diploma courses. Admission at university is based on either merit or a national-level entrance test known as AJEE (AISECT Joint Entrance Test).

Admission 2024 at University

University admission for 2024 is now open. Admission at university is based on either merit or a national-level entrance test known as AJEE (AISECT Joint Entrance Test). Interested candidates can obtain an application form by visiting the official website.

Steps to Apply for Admissions 2024

Here are the methods to apply for University Admissions 2024.

Online Procedure:

• Visit the official website and navigate to the 'Admissions' tab."
• Fill out all of the required details in the form provided. If the course requires an entrance exam, select the appropriate examination center. Also, select 'online / offline' as the mode of exam.
• Upload a photo and pay the INR 500 application fee online.
• Payments can be made using net banking, debit card, or credit card.
• Following submission, an SMS will be provided with the final accepted application/registration number.

Offline Procedure:

Step 1: Admission Form
Students can obtain the form at the University office or download it. The application form fees INR 500. 

Step 2: Fill out the application form.
Candidates must carefully complete out the application form, including all relevant facts. It is required to enter an email address and mobile number for future communication. Candidates must include self-attested copies of mark sheets with the application form.

Step 3: Final Submission.
Duly attested documents, along with the application form, should be sent/submitted to the address below:

Note: Application form can get rejected in the following cases:

• Incomplete forms
• Forms missing annexure, photocopies of mark sheets. 
• Forms received after the last date of exam.

Step 4: Selection Process
The University's website will notify qualifying candidates of the date, time, and location of the Admission Procedure (Written Test/Group Discussion/Interview/or Direct Admission). Direct admission would be only merit-based. A list of selected candidates will be presented on the website, and they will be asked to pay the course fees. Failure to do so may result in revocation of entry.

Step 5: Announcement of Admission
The University will notify candidates via email and SMS regarding their admission status. However, this should not be interpreted as a formal announcement of admittance. Selected candidates will be informed about selection through an Admission Letter, which will be submit.

It has created a scholarship program called Shiksha Mitra Scholarships. It is the largest university-aided scholarship program in the state. This program will award scholarships totaling Rs. 1 crore. This award takes into account student's specific results in their class 12th board exams.
