Karnavati University, located in Uvarsad near Gandhinagar, was founded in 2017. The college provides numerous undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level courses with various specializations. The Association of Indian Universities in New Delhi granted KU membership in 2019. The institution has major international collaborations with the institution of Northampton, De Montfort University, and the University of Derby, among others.

All courses are admitted based on the results of the entrance exam, which is followed by GD and PI. The university accepts a number of entrance tests, including KUAT, UGAT, CLAT, and UID-DAT. Karnavati University offers both an online and an offline admissions process. All of the courses have entrance requirements for admission. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements must submit their application.

The Unitedworld Institute of Design entrance exam, or UID-DAT (Design Aptitude Test), is used to determine admission to design degrees. Both online and offline application methods are available to candidates. There are two rounds to the UID admissions process:-

Round 1: The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) comprises questions that assess the candidate's analytical, creative, and general intelligence.

The maximum compensation package is INR 16,00,000, while the median wage has been approximately INR 6,00,000. By internships, up to 25% of placements take place.

Karnavati University's UID Ahmedabad has a stellar placement history as well. Their average packages range from 8 to 14 LPA, and they have a placement rate of above 80%. Gandhinagar Scholarship at Karnataka University
The college assists in offering the scholarships awarded by the Gujarati government. Aside from a small number of institutional and private scholarships, some of the government-funded scholarships include:

• Postgraduate students are eligible for the Digital Gujarat Scholarship. This scholarship partially pays for living expenses as well as tuition.
• Students who have received 80% in the general category and 65% in the reservation category are eligible for the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, provided that their family's yearly income is less than INR 6 lakh.
• Scholarships for Post-Matric ST Girls: These are tuition-only awards for female students belonging to the ST reservation group, with a family income of no more than INR 2.5 lakh per year.
