The admission criteria of Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences, Amritsar are as follows:

1. The candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from a recognized Board/University.

2. The minimum marks required in 10+2 level is 50% for General Category, 45% for SC/ST Category and 40% for OBC Category candidates.

3. The candidate should have appeared in the entrance examination conducted by the University.

4. The minimum age for admission is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit for admission to any course.

For most courses, you will need to have completed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board. You will also need to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the university. However, there are some courses which have different admission criteria such as B.Sc Nursing for which you will need to have completed 10+2 in Science with minimum 45% marks and pass an entrance test conducted by the university.
