Woxsen University Admissions 2024-25

Woxsen School of Business in Hyderabad offers undergraduate programs including BBA, BBA+MBA, and B.Com (Hons.), along with the postgraduate program, MBA. Additionally, PhD courses are available in four specializations. All programs are approved by AICTE.

For admission to the MBA and MBA (Business Analytics) programs, candidates need a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. They can apply with scores from NMAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, CMAT, or WAT.

For the MBA (Financial Services) program, applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks. Admission is based on scores from NMAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, CMAT, or WAT.

Admission to the BBA+MBA, BBA, and B.Com (Hons.) programs is based on the performance in the WAT.

For PhD admission, candidates need a master’s degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Selection is based on scores from WRET, UGC-NET, GATE, or JRF.

At the time of admission, candidates have the option to choose additional certifications. These certifications can also be selected or changed after admission.

 


Admission Process:

For Undergraduate Programs (BBA, BBA (Hons.), BBA+MBA, B.Com (Hons.)):

  1. Submit your scores from GMAT, GRE, NMAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, or WAT (Woxsen Aptitude Test).
  2. Schedule and complete a Psychometric Test.
  3. Participate in a Personal Interview Round.

For PhD Program:

  1. Appear for the Online Woxsen Research Entrance Test (WRET) or submit your scores from UGC-NET, CSIR, ICMR, or GATE (cleared within the last 2 years).
  2. Engage in an Online Presentation & Discussion about your research interests, followed by a Personal Interview with a panel.

Selection Process: Candidates are evaluated based on various criteria during the interview round, including academic record, entrance test score, communication skills, personality, extracurricular achievements, and general knowledge.

Woxsen School of Business Admission Process:

Scholar's Round:

  • Benefits:
    1. Students selected based on their Composite Score (including Entrance Test Scorecard and PI Round) may receive an Additional Merit Scholarship of 10%.
    2. Recipients of the Additional 10% Scholarship must confirm their seat by paying the Commitment Fee before December 15, 2023.
    3. Missing the commitment fee payment deadline will result in the forfeiture of the Additional Merit Scholarship, and the application will be considered for Regular Admission.

Early Decision Round:


Benefits:

  • Students selected based on their Composite Score (including Entrance Test Scorecard and PI Round) may receive an Additional Merit Scholarship of 5%.
  • Recipients of the Additional 5% Scholarship must confirm their seat by paying the Commitment Fee before June 30, 2023.
  • Failure to meet the commitment fee payment deadline will invalidate the Additional Merit Scholarship, and the application will be treated as Regular Admission.
