Pune, Maharashtra is located to the private deemed university known as Bharati Vidyapeeth, established in 1964, is ranked 91st among Top Universities by NIRF 2023 and in the 701–750 range of "Asian Universities" by QS World University Rankings 2023. In addition to having "A" grade from the Ministry of Human Resources Development of the Government of India, University has a "A+" grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC), NBA, NABL, NABH, and FDA, and membership in "The Association of Commonwealth Universities."

Admissions 2024 to Courses:

Online registration is required for admission to university courses. Applications must be submitted by interested parties through the university's official website. Candidates are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements set forth by University previous to submitting an application for any of its programs.

Admission to UG Program:

Students must have 12th in the relevant stream with the required marks from an accredited board to be eligible for admission to UG programs.  

Pune UG's Admission is determined by the results of the BVDU CET entrance exam. Candidates who qualify for JEE Main or MHTCET will fill open seats in the B.Tech program. However, aspirants should have NEET UG for medical courses and NATA for architectural courses.

Admission to PG Program:

Applicants for master's programs must have bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or school with the bare minimum of needed grades.

The results of admission exams are used to select students. While the BVDU CET is the university entrance exam used for admission to many programs, the results of national or state entrance exams are accepted for select few degrees at university.

Candidates must take the NEET PG exam to apply for medical and technological PG programs like as MD, MS, M.Ch, MDS, and DM. For M.Tech, they must have a valid GATE score.

Additionally, candidates for PG medical programs in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and homeopathy must have a valid AIAPGET score.

Research Admission:

To apply for research courses, one must have master's degree in the relevant field. To apply for research courses, candidates must take an admission exam conducted by the university. The candidate's overall performance is used to make the ultimate decision.
Facilities at University:

• Campus Library:    The University has a large library at its university campus that was established in 1976 and serves as a reference library for research researchers. The library holds about 7000 items and subscribes to over 60 magazines. It also provides internet, reprographic, UGC (Infonet), e-journal, and other services.
• Department Libraries:   In addition to the campus library, each teaching department has its own library, with 34 on university site and 6 on the Senate House campus.
• Sports Facilities:   University's many campuses provide excellent sports opportunities. The university has a playground where students can play cricket, hockey, and football. Students can also play gymnasium and indoor games.
• Observatory:   The Trivandrum Observatory is built on a hill that is 60 feet high and 200 feet above sea level. The observatory's geographical location is 8 degrees 30 minutes north latitude and approximately 76 degrees 59 minutes east longitude. It is part of University's Department of Physics.
• Hostel:    The hostel's facilities include comfortable rooms, large libraries, and a dining area. Wi-Fi-equipped computer rooms are available to guarantee that students' education is uninterrupted. Game areas, gyms, room upkeep, student security, and cleanliness are all included in student housing.  The dorms have all facilities student could require for a comfortable stay.
